POW! WOW! Hawaii has really raised the bar this year with the murals created for their 2018 event. Many of which playfully pay attention to important issues. Like trees. A lot of what we use comes from trees. Whether it be the paper we draw on, the fruits from their limbs that we eat or the timber they provide for building skate ramps. Born and raised Honolulu artist couple Mathew and Roxanne Ortiz (aka Wooden Wave), and fellow Hawaiian born artist Gavin Murai, hit the nail on the head with an extremely inspirational mural that could be called “Let’s Cruise“.

The artwork featuring a tree house RV, fully decked out with solar panels and roof top lip ramp is a clever merge of all things visual. It doesn’t matter if your a fine artists, graffiti artist, or a general creative enthusiast. There is something in there for everyone.
