The Efimurs Festival in May 2024 brought urban art to life in L’Ametlla de Mar, Tarragona, Spain. The festival turned this coastal town into a canvas with eleven stunning large-format murals. The mission was to make urban art accessible and meaningful to the community, enhancing the town’s charm under the theme “L’Ametlla de Mar, the most natural cove.”
The festival aimed to promote best practices in mural art, professionalize the artists’ work, and forge a strong, educational, and empowering connection with the locals.
Artists like Abys from France, Kitsune Jolene from Belgium, Mura & Filite from Brazil, and Spanish talents Dridali, Asem, Manz, Kamma Marlo, Moxaico, Sucri, Furyo, Zabala, and Uri KTHR transformed the town’s walls into vibrant masterpieces.
The event also featured workshops in collaboration with local schools, spreading the love for graffiti and artistic expression. To wrap up the festival, a Jam session brought even more color with contributions from national artists like Cayn PTA2, Emi, Erizo, Leim, MariaDie, Mawe, Nels, None, Pauceda, Rode, and Urih PTA2.
The Efimurs Festival wasn’t just about art; it was about community, culture, and celebration. Attendees enjoyed the local gastronomy and the relaxed vibe of this beautiful coastal town, making the event a hit with everyone involved. Montana Cans is thrilled to have been part of this artistic journey, supporting the vibrant fusion of urban art and community spirit. The Event was sponsored by Montana Cans through Ultrawide.
