for impressive and realistic concrete finishes
For even more lifelike results, shades such as City Hall, Pantheon, and Empire can be applied using the wet-on-wet technique, or by adjusting the thickness of each coat. Additionally, freshly applied paint can be manipulated with cardboard or foil to create unique textures and irregularities, further enhancing the natural concrete look. Lightweight objects can instantly transform with a heavy, solid concrete-like finish. Once cured, Montana CONCRETE Effect Spray can be top-coated with Montana GOLD, Montana BLACK, Montana ACRYLIC markers, and other standard acrylic or nitro-combi paints. For non-sealed surfaces, a primer like Montana Universal PRIMER is recommended for optimal results. Don’t forget to check out our helpful How-To video.
How to Use Tips:
For the best application results, use the spray in conditions between +10°C and +25°C. Protect the work area from overspray, and ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust or oils. Shake the can thoroughly for 2-3 minutes before use, and remove the safety ring located under the spray cap before spraying.
Apply at a distance of 25 cm from the surface in thin, even coats, allowing 2-3 minutes of drying time between each layer. For complete curing, leave the object to dry for 24 hours before applying additional coats. As with all spray products, it’s advised to test on a non-visible area first to ensure compatibility with the surface.
