Montana Store Vienna supporting local Vienna Graffiti writers
The Montana Store Vienna has well and truly proven that it’s number one for graffiti culture in not only the city of Vienna but also for Austria as a whole. As the suppliers of full shelves of the whole Montana Cans range, it always looks after its customers like they’re number 1. Their in-store gallery has world-class artwork that makes it a number 1 must-do for art lovers both local and visiting.
Their collabo Montana Store Vienna can is the number one collectible can in the country. And they sure know how to through a party as proven during their 1st-year anniversary celebrations. Even though they have achieved all this, they just managed another number 1… Introducing the Montana Store Vienna – SUNDAY SESSIONS #1.
To launch the beginning of this new series, MSV is now supporting local artists in the creation of 1 piece per month. With the endless options of color from the Montana BLACK or Montana GOLD range, the artist can pick their cans and the Hall Of Fame (the location) to rock their best work on a Sunday. The whole exercise will be captured and shared online with the world.Last weekend saw the first of the series kick off with local graffiti writer, @jakobderbruder (literally translated – Jakob the Brother).
With his complex collision of figurative and abstract, illustration and graffiti, Jakob takes us to places that standard style writing doesn’t. With its weathered surface and its organic execution, Jakob Der Bruder set the bar high. It makes us want to see what the next artist will come up with?
