Montana Store Frankfurt - First Anniversary

Time to celebrate! Unbelievable, but Montana Store Frankfurt recently celebrated its first anniversary. Time flies when you are having fun! After the initial success in Vienna, Frankfurt is the next Montana Cans store in line, always fully stocked with the finest products and a carefully curated selection of books and magazines. According to storeowner Fabian Pohl and his team, attention to detail and love for graffiti are reflected in every inch of the neat location, which crosses the boundaries between retail and gallery space.

We released a brand-new can during the anniversary event to commemorate the partnership with the only German brand store. After some exclusive drinks in the shop on Friday amongst family and friends, a big painting session took place on Saturday. The team prepared everything perfectly: all the walls were primed in gray, awaiting the diverse lineup of artists. Local and internationally known writers have followed the invitation to come together, talk, celebrate, and paint at Ratsweg-Kreisel, a legendary local spot for aerosol enthusiasts. After all, it’s about giving back to the culture and creating conversation.

Some names that popped up during the event give a small impression of the quality of the output: Lugosis and Strato, Kent, Sweet Uno, Hera, Jakob der Bruder, Hombre, Most, Case Maclaim, Ruin, Shue, Semor, Justus Becker, crews like AK 47, OAS, UWE, and JBCB, and many more brought their individual touch and made this event unforgettable.

In numbers: 3000 square meters of graffiti painted by 180 graffiti writers with 2500 cans. What’s unquantifiable is the amount of fun everybody had! Of course, this drew the attention of countless fans who came by the walls after the event to take pictures.
