Interpretation at the next level

In the second installment in our London visit to UK graffiti legend VOYDER, we set him a second challenge to interpret the next Montana Cans product, the MARBLE 400ml Effect spray in the color red. A product that he himself was also keen to get his hands onto.

As stated in the first challenge, we were well aware that VOYDER is prolific at elusive mastery. With a love for visual trickery, we were intrigued as to how this challenge would pan out.

The concept all started with a relatively logical approach of VOYDER scribing his name on a piece of glass. Little did we know that this was the blueprint (or should it be redprint), of what was to become his interpretation of the MARBLE EFFECT RED. From this point in, he assessed which Montana GOLD and Montana BLACK can colors could assist him in executing the actual work. The work itself was an impressive re-creation of the tag he did on the glass, except on a large scale, on a wall in the suburbs of London. It’s hard to see where the MARBLE EFFECT RED stops and the illusion begins. They almost look the same.
