Marina Zumi is not scared of change. You can see this in her artwork. Exploring nature, the cosmos, sacred geometry and quantum theory, Zumi appears to be facinated with all that is ever changing. The fact that she comes from Buenos Aires and is now located in Berlin also points to a flexible artist. Her work is not classic or cliché. In paying attention to the “other”, she brings new ideas and new visual creativity to a domain (street art/graffiti) that is otherwise often obsessed with letters. Fades, lines and animals all come together in multiple coats of Montana BLACK and Montana GOLD paint.

From Buenos Aires to Berlin

In collaboration this year, Zumi teams up with Juxtapoz to exhibit a body of work at Art Basel in Miami. But until that happens, enjoy the artwork she has already created here.
