Kent is "The Northernmost" | Intro

Montana Black 100% Winterproof! You don’t believe it? We sent Kent to the North Cape area in Norway, to proof it. Here is the introduction, written by “The Northern Most” himself

“It all started on a September evening when me and my girl were at a dinner with her parents. We had marinated trout with salmon red flesh and some great red wine. My girl’s father is a hobby fisherman and while enjoying the great fish he had prepared we talked about his hobby and travels. The places he went to were all places i have never been before and all stories pretty much sounded like if they’ve been adventure and great fun. At the same time I remembered that I still had to plan my Writer Team action for the current year and I thought by myself: Why not go to a place like one of these. Next thing we talked about was his stay at the North Cape area in Norway some time ago. I said it could probably be the northern most graffiti in the world if I would do something there and the idea was born. Back at home I did some internet research about the area trying to find out if there was any graffiti at all and then checking out if there were other places that would have graffiti in a northern place than that one. Nevertheless even if it would not be the northern most graffiti in the world this would be some kind of adventure trip that I haven’t done before.I knew I would need a local contact that would help me getting all this done, since I was sure that it could not be done without local support. I found a website that offered cabins and cruises for rent just a few kilometers away from the North Cape. I wrote an email and told them about my idea and went to bed. The next day I had a lady named Helene on the phone and found out that she and her husband Bjørn were running this little private business offering cabins for rent and organizing boat trips.

“The first thought they had was that my mail was Spam and someone wanted to fool them but then they immediately realized that I was not kidding.” Kent

The first thought they had was that my mail was Spam and someone wanted to fool them but then they immediately realized that I was not kidding. With my plan in general being unusual enough it was also the time I planned doing my action: during wintertime at polar night when it is low season and hardly any tourists. Bjørn was amazed by my ideas and during the following weeks he began supporting me with sending images of possible buildings and locations to paint on, while trying to get in touch with people for commissions for these locations. Not only by the support they gave me but also through numerous fun time calls (Bjørn has a great sense of humor, so we laughed a lot) and mails my gut told me that this must most definitely be the best people to have contacted to let this happen. Plans were made, can shipment was organized and flights were booked: The “adventure” was about to begin.”
