For the modern day graffiti art movement, the name Jeroo is infamous the world over. The German born artist has written his name in multiple continents, in ever changing styles with multiple levels of difficulty. But he is not just restricted to walls. As a practising artist and teacher, he is also active in studio art practice. We were lucky enough to be invited and watch him at work. Aside from art making, we were also able to speak to him about his new book, “Graffiti School” released by Thames and Hudson. Since Sept 2013 Christoph „Jeroo“ Ganter’s book „GRAFFITI SCHOOL“ is available at your local book store. In addition to a short overview of the beginnings of graffiti art, the book is all about practical instructions and basic knowlege: from composition, handling and maintenance of your grafitti equipment through to illustrated step-by-step instructions to design elements and techniques. Jeroo dedicates his book to the motto: „your path to your very own style“.
