The Swedish graffiti writer JEKS has been a prominent figure in the scene since the 1990s. Originally from Stockholm, he has spread his art across Sweden and beyond. His talent and passion have made him well-known not only in his home country but also internationally. Germany, with its vibrant graffiti scene, holds a special place in his heart.

“I’m coming from Stockholm, Sweden, but I’m painting all over Sweden,” JEKS explains. His works adorn walls from Stockholm to Malmö and beyond. Germany also plays a significant role in his artistic journey. Since the mid-1990s, he has frequently visited German cities, especially Hamburg, to pursue his art. “I think Germany in general has a great graffiti scene, and that is why I like to go there from time to time.”

Graffiti embraced JEKS in the mid-1980s, and a few years later, he began painting himself. Since then, he has never stopped writing. “I paint and sketch as much as possible,” he says, underscoring his deep commitment to the art form. This passion has fueled his evolution as an artist, making him a dynamic force in the graffiti world.
