HERA and LAUREN YS, also known as SQUID.LICKER, teamed up at the Metropolink Festival in Heidelberg, Germany, to create a stunning mural titles “Sharing our Blessings”. Equipped with Montana BLACK and GOLD paint, these two talented artists transformed the commissary at a former US military location into a vibrant work of art. Though the festival officially kicks off on August 25th, HERA and SQUID.LICKER couldn’t wait to bring their vision to life.
HERA from the former Artist duo HERAKUT, a Frankfurt-born German-Pakistani painter with roots in Graffiti and street art, hosted Lauren YS during her stay in Germany. Spontaneously joining forces, they painted a mural that captures their unique styles and the dynamic energy of their collaboration. The outcome is a powerful and colorful piece that has already captivated viewers.
