The American state of Ohio is brimming with activity for the Greetings Tour project. The 4th mural by Victor Ving and Lisa Beggs was completed in the town of Sandusky to celebrate their Bicentennial. The Sandusky Theatre was the spot and the back wall made for a perfect place to ave a sizable GREETINGS mural. GREETINGS TOUR FROM SANDUSKY
And Montana-Cans was close at hand with the Montana GOLD and Montana BLACK cans plowing through the September heat to help the artists create their work. But it was all business (and fun) as the duo didn’t let the nearby Oktober Fest party distract them from getting the job done. Or at least not so much that the project was not completed. With a lot of happy punters looking on and some assistance from local food suppliers, in the end the artwork look like this:
One of our favorite things was going out on the boat that we painted inside the “K” for the mural. Jason, one the of city board members has a friend we met named Kurt, who took us on a cruise around Lake Erie on his 1963 Lyman made right there in Sandusky. We took off at sunset with some Cameo Pizza, saw the Coal Docks and went up to the shore at Cedar Point, the Roller Coaster Capital of the World.Victor Ving & Lisa Beggs
